I'm so proud

Ok so I've been having problems kicking off the running cause of the local weather here right. Well today I finally made a decision that I can't make excuses! I went to the gym at our community center and hit the machines. I am not tracking by how many miles cuase that is just setting myself up for failure. I am proud to announce that i did a half mile in 16 minutes. What I am proud of is that I was able to rotate between a jog and brisk walk for 16 minutes. A year ago I couldn't even do 5 minuts without dying of exhaustion or my ankle giving out. Oddly enough my bad ankle worked out fine. My good ankle got sore.

After that I hit the eliptical machine for 5 minutes. And then some weight machines.

I have decided from now on I will start 5 to 10 minutes on the eliptical (probably working up to 10 minutes) and then hitting the treadmill working myself up to 15 minutes of brisk walk and 15 minutes of jogging.

I'm going to run on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. On Mon, Wed and Fri I'll do yoga and weight training. Sunday is going to be my day of rest so to say with no major training but just basic with cleaning the house and stuff like that.

I usually use Monday as my wiegh in day but I didn't do it yesterday. I weighed in at 8 this morning and found that I have lost 2 pounds. Yay go me! I'm 155.2 so lets see if I can hit 153 by next week!
